Currently a student at Harvard, Rachel Lee “already commands an impressive musical profile,” according to the Chicago Tribune. (Itzhak Perlman has been Lee’s teacher since she was 10 years old.)
Hamelin’s unique blend of musicianship and virtuosity has earned him legendary status as a true avatar of the piano. He has planned a program of Haydn, Mozart, Liszt, Fauré, and Alkan for his Series debut.

Kevin Kenner was the winner in 1990 of the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw & of the Bronze Medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He records regularly for the BBC in England, where he now lives.

The Orchestra continues with the "Kansas City Suite" by Benny Carter. Music includes Rompin at the Reno, Vine Stree Rumble, Jackson County Jubilee, Miss Missouri and more swingin' sounds of Kansas City.
The Company that performed Cinderella in 2004 and Don Quixote in 2001 will return to the Series to dance Coppélia, a comic romance that tells of an inventor who creates a full-sized doll that some believe to be human.
Proceeds from this event will help preserve and enhance this 110 year old theater and its programs for future generations. Honoring William N. Deramus III

One of the most beloved and celebrated musical ambassadors of our time, soprano Renee Fleming captivates audiences with her sumptous voice, consummate artistry, and compelling stage presence.
The company has planned a program to include the extravagant third act from the classiclove story ballet Raymonda, and Stanton Welch's The Long and Winding Road set to Peter Breiner's captivating, Baroque-styled orchestration of The Beatles songs.
This young duo developed the program to be performed in Kansas City using Rachmaninov and Prokofiev cello and piano sonatas at its core and then created cello/piano arrangements of other Rachmaninov works.
Winner of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant for 2009, Alessio Bax is universally praised for his lyrical playing and insightful interpretations.
